Since its inception in 1981, Financial Insights’ mission has included participation in philanthropy – both locally and worldwide. Associates are encouraged to be active in their communities and also to provide the time and resources to support charity. As the company grew, so did thier commitment to charitable causes. A fixed percentage of Financial Insights’ revenue is dedicated to the areas of: education, hunger, women and children and world development.
Hurricane Recovery
On President’s Day weekend, Financial Insights
sponsored a team of three to participate in the
Hurricane Recovery efforts in Lake Charles, LA.
Through the United Methodist Committee on
Relief (UMCOR), Gini Bruce, Marilyn Mullenax
and Sunny King assisted in the rehabilitation
of a 90 year old gentleman’s home. The work
team repaired ceilings, walls and flooring that
were much in need of attention since the 2005 Hurricane season.

United Way of Pierce County
Financial Insights recently partnered with The United Way of Pierce County (Washington) and other coalition groups on a five-year Early Learning program that engages childcare providers and parents in preparing children to learn. In addition, Financial Insights associates have worked building homes with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans and participated in a Rotary outreach trip to Ethiopia that helped immunized children against polio. During that trip, associates also helped build and secure funding that brought safe drinking water to residents. In Johannesburg, South Africa associates brought books and other gifts to children and taught lessons in English.
Bikers Against Statewide Hunger
During the last few holiday seasons, Financial Insights’ associates have teamed with Bikers Against Statewide Hunger and the Emergency Food Network to provide turkeys and assemble food baskets for those in need.
